Thomas G. Smith

Thomas G. Smith, Sr., 80 of Lorain, died Monday, May 28, 2007 at Fairview Hospital following a short illness. He was born January 9, 1927 in Lorain. He has lived in Lorain most of his life, also residing in Englewood, Florida for the last 14 years. He is survived by his wife, Irene (nee Flaczynski) Smith of Lorain; daughters, Denise Flynn of Cleveland and Renee Ann Coughlin of Avon Lake; sons, Thomas G. Smith, Jr. of Bradenton, Florida and Peter J. Smith of Lorain; 5 grandchildren; brother, William Smith of Pennsylvania. He was preceded-in-death by his mother, Gertrude (nee Flannigan) Smith.
