Thomas M 'Tom' Jones

Thomas M. Jones, 68, of Greenwich, died Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born December 10, 1950 in Amherst, Oh and had been a Greenwich resident for the past 10 years moving from Lorain. Tom worked for Bartlett Construction and retired from AV Lake Construction, and was also a member of the Carpenters Union. He was a 35 year member of Alcoholics Anonymous and enjoyed golfing, fishing, collecting marbles, watching sports, and going to the flea market. He is survived by his sons, Thomas Michael "Mike" (Angelique) Jones of Vermilion and Kevin Jones of Vermilion; grandchildren: Taylor, Michael, Maddex, and Sierra; brothers, Terry Jones of TX and Jeff Jones of Vermilion; and his sisters, Theora Carlson of CA, Joyce Dickerhoff of Vermilion, and Janice Walle of Vermilion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas M. and Minnie Belle (nee DeWitt) Jones. Family will receive friends Friday, February 15, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Oh. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
