Thomas Gerald Pudloski

Thomas Gerald Pudloski, 70, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after a two year illness with renal cell cancer. Born January 1, 1941 in Ravenna, Ohio he had been a Vermilion resident for the past 27 years moving from Mayfield Hts. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Thomas worked for 40 years in retail management, most recently working for Rite Aide, Vermilion retiring in 2008. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion and enjoyed gardening, dining with friends and family, and especially golfing. He also enjoyed spending time and joking with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 42 1/2 years, Jeanne Pudloski (nee Morrow); sons, Tim (Emily) Pudloski of Sandusky and Greg (Amanda) Pudloski of Stow; daughter, Jill (Scott) Bennett of Pataskala; grandchildren: Alexa, Gregory, Jack, and Parker; brother, James Pudloski of Cuyahoga Falls; and sister, Karen Geist of Kent. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Ann (nee Slama) Pudloski. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 8, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion OH where the Vermilion Veterans Council will conduct Military Honors at 7:00 pm. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 10:00 am followed by a 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion.
