Thomas Edwin Rosenberger, 68 of Vermilion, died Saturday, August 5, 2006 after a sudden illness. He was born September 1, 1937 in Kelly Station, PA and has been a Vermilion resident for the past 41 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War between 1955-1958. He worked for Ford Motor Co., Lorain, retiring after 30 years. He had attended Lakeview Baptist Church in Vermilion. He was a member of the AMVETS Post # 22. He enjoyed his grandchildren, cooking, woodworking, boating, fishing, yard work, gardening, and motorcycle riding. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Helen Patti Rosenberger, son, Thomas (Laura) C. Rosenberger of Rainbow City, Alabama; daughters: Brenda Lee Moyer of Shelocta, PA and Jennifer (Steven) Lynn (nee Mead) Scheeres of Vermilion; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; brother, John H Rosenberger of Wickliffe, OH and sisters: Goldie "Dolly" Crownover of Kittanning, PA and Mary Jackson of Meadville, PA. Preceding him in death were his parents, John Harold and Lucy Belle (nee Kellerman) Rosenberger , and sister Jane Zion. Friends may call Wednesday, August 9, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio where the Vermilion Veterans Council will be conducting Military Honors at 7:00 pm. Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home , Thursday, August 10, 2006 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Guy Morton, pastor of Lakeview Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be Friday August 11, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in Union Cemetery, McVille, PA.
