Travis C. Rowan

Travis C Rowan, 37, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Mercy Regional Medical Center. Travis was born August 17, 1977 in Weston, WV, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 31 years moving from Cleveland. Travis had worked for Local Union 33, Vermilion as a sheet metal worker. He had been a member of several dart clubs and enjoyed golfing and playing darts. He is survived by his parents, Cary Rowan and Wanda (nee Teter) Rowan of Vermilion; sister, April Sklarek of Vermilion and a niece, Amanda. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Guy and Ona Teter and his paternal grandparents, Goldie Ruth and Griffen Rowan. The family will receive friends at the Stocker-Pilettie Funeral Home, 378 Corner Rd., Flatwoods, WV 26621on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2014 from 11 am until the time of the service at 1 pm.
