Tree Of Remembrance Ceremony

Dear Family,

On Sunday, November 20, 2022, Riddle Funeral Home will be sharing with the community our 23nd Annual “Tree of Remembrance Ceremony”. The program will begin at 12:30 pm in Victory Park, located on the corner of Main and Ohio Streets in downtown Vermilion. We will be honoring your family and all those we serve by remembering your loved one in a special tree decorating ceremony.

As we remember each deceased family member that we have served throughout the past year, we invite your family and friends to place a special weatherproof ornament on the tree in commemoration of your loss. Once adorned, our “Tree of Remembrance” will be a lighted remembrance for all to share throughout this holiday season.

Holidays, especially those family traditions celebrated during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, can be overwhelming to families who try to celebrate in the absence of a loved one. We hope that through our “Tree of Remembrance” ceremony we can help shine a little light into the hearts of those who may find this time difficult.
