Treva M. Turner

Treva M. Turner (nee Roach), 93, of Vermilion, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Treva was born March 12, 1925 in Gallia , OH. She spent most of her life in Vermilion, having returned 5 years ago after living in Grand Rapids, MI for almost 20 years. Treva raised her family in Vermilion and was a member of the JOY class at First Baptist Church, Vermilion. She enjoyed puzzles, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and loved her dog, Chance. She is survived by her daughters: Sharon (Michael) Cyran of Vermilion, Rebecca Englebry of Grand Rapids, MI, Cathy (Joseph) Szivan of East Grand Rapids, MI; granddaughters, Angela (John) Evans, Holly (Mark) Maki, Jennifer (Trebor) Thornfeldt, Heather (Tim) Thomas, Melissa Szivan; grandsons, Jerold (Michelle) White, Nathan Szivan, Jonathan Szivan, Joe (Jodie) Szivan, Kalan (Krista) Turner; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Leslie Turner; son, Ralph Daniel Turner; parents Cecil and Etta (nee) Belville) Roach; and brothers, Clyde Roach and Cecil Roach. A Celebration of Life service will take place in July.
