Veronica K. Akers

Veronica K. Akers, 69, of Vermilion, died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Kingston of Vermilion .She was born May 18, 1943 in Friendsville, MD and had been a Vermilion resident since 1986. Veronica was a bartender at the Vermilion American Legion Post # 397 for 26 years. She is survived by her daughter Tonia D. Prater of Vermilion; son James C. Storm of Elyria; grandchildren Cory and Megan. Veronica's children would like to invite family and friends to join them for a celebration of her life on Saturday, August 4th from 1-4 P.M. at the Vermilion American Legion Post # 397, 2713 State Rt. 60, Vermilion, OH 44089 Memorial contributions in Veronica's memory may be made to the American Legion Post # 397 to assist with final expenses.
