Veronica Joy Heater

Veronica Joy Heater, 32, of Elyria, died Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born August 4, 1989 in Berlin Heights and had been an Elyria resident for the past 5 years moving from Vermilion . Veronica graduated from the Berlin-Milan School District and worked at the Murry Ridge Workshop. She loved singing, dancing, music, and socializing. She is survived by her parents, William II and Diane (nee Keith) Heater of Vermilion; her biological sister, Cira Swain of GA; brothers, William Heater, III of Amherst and Zachariah Heater of Milan; sisters, Amanda Holbrok of CA, Ashley Heater of Vermilion, Naomi Harris of Milan, Rebecca Mottie of MD, Leah Heater of Milan, and Elizabeth Heater of Huron. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Darlene and Thurman Keith and her paternal grandparents, Virginia and William I Heater. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
