Veronica 'Monica' Jasinski

Veronica "Monica" Jasinski (nee Nowinski), 89, of Avon, died Friday, June 11, 2010 in Avon Oaks Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born April 13, 1921 in Poland and has been a Lorain resident since 1948. She worked as an inspector for Lorain Products for 25 years retiring in 1969. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua, Lorain and the United Polish Club, Lorain. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, dancing, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Survivors include her son, Robert (Sharon) Jasinski of North Ridgeville; 2 grandchildren, Scott Jasinski of Strongsville and Jennifer Sroka of Parma; and 4 great-grandchildren: Rachael, Taylor, Joey Jr. and Morgan. Preceding her in death were her husband Andrew Jasinski in 1988, parents; son, David in 1976 and brother Paul Nowinski. Friends may call Monday, June 14, 2010 from 4-7 pm at the Dombrowski-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Dombrowski-Riddle Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Henkle officiating.
