Vic W Hudson

Vic W. Hudson 49, of Strongsville, died Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic after a short illness. He was born March 8, 1966 in Lorain and had been a Strongsville resident for the past year and a half moving from Cleveland, Brunswick, and Vermilion. Vic graduated from the Vermilion High School class of 1986 and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving in Desert Storm as a Lance Corporal. He worked as an operational manager for Loveman Steel for the past 18 months and had also worked for Shiloh Steel for 20 years. He was a member of the Vermilion Fish and Game and the VFW, Brunswick. He enjoyed shooting sports, photography,and was an avid Browns fan. He was also a Harley Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with his family, and being in the outdoors, fishing or walking the Metro Parks. He is survived by his mother, Mildred (nee Waldrop) Hudson of Amherst; sisters, Patricia Pettry of Vermilion and Dr. Vicki Kondik of Winchester, Virginia; companion, Dawn Granberry of Strongsville, several nieces and nephews, and his yellow lab, Kellie. He was preceded in death by his father, Glyn G. Hudson, brother, Glenn G. Hudson; and nephew, Dennis Pettry Jr. Friends may call Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015 from 5:00 pm until the time of Military Honors presented at 7:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH 44089.
