Victoria A. Landers

Victoria A. Landers (nee Mazur), 73, of Vermilion, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Avon Place following a lengthy illness.

She was born February 3, 1953 in Lorain, Ohio, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 33 years moving from Lorain.

Victoria was a proud graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing in Lorain and dedicated many years of her life to caring for others. She worked as a nurse at several area nursing homes throughout her career, including Milan at Edison Health Care, Lorain Manor, and Bradley Road Nursing Home. Her compassion and commitment to her patients were evident in all she did.

She was a former member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Lorain, NAAPNES (a nursing Club), and the Red Hats Society. Victoria enjoyed gardening, crafting, collecting Josef Originals figurines, camping, and she liked to junk. She especially cherished time spent with her granddaughter and her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Arnold G. Landers; her son, Stephen (Lisa) Landers of Vermilion; granddaughter, Stephanie Landers; her sister, Veronica Paghi of Vermilion; and her brother, Ronald Clapper of Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Audrey (nee Coleman) Mazur, and her sister, Stephanie Adams.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 Noon at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
