Victoria K. Weaver, 93, of Toledo, formerly of Amherst, died Monday, May 8, 2006 in Waterford Commons, Toledo. She was born June 29, 1912 in Poland, grew up in South Amherst, and lived in Amherst until 1985 when she moved to Toledo to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren. She worked as a sales clerk for May Company in Sheffield for 22 years retiring in 1976. She was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Amherst and had been active in the Victorian Guild, Altar Rosary and Amherst Senior Citizens. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and playing with her family's dogs. Survivors include daughters, Linda Suzanne (Larry) Payne of Clinton Township, MI and, Sandra Marie (Tony)Myers of Toledo; grandsons, Scott (Paula), Brian, Michael (Dana)and Brad Payne; 3 great grandchildren, Gregory and Erich Payne and Danielle Victoria Payne; step-grandchildren, Dawn (Jim) Wallin, Ty (Sherri) Myers; 3 step great granddaughters, Alexa Webber, Andrea Wallin and Taylor Myers; sister, Mary Ann (Ervin)Wragg of Vermilion; and brother, Joseph (Mary) Klimosewski of El Centro, CA. Preceding her in death were her husband, Clarence Leo Weaver in 1954; sister, Agnes Thompson; brother, John Klimosewski and parents, Joseph and Anna Mary (nee Stonsic) Klimosewski. Friends may call Wednesday, May 17 from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. followed by a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Drive, Amherst. Father Lawrence Martello, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Charity of the Donor's choice or by gifting a memorial mass.
