Vida Mae Jenneman

Vida Mae Jenneman (nee Higdon), 86, of Vermilion, died Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Mercy Hospital after a short illness. Vida was born April 4, 1926 in Hartselle, AL. She had been a Vermilion resident for the past 10 years moving from Redford, Michigan. . She worked for Celestemer Manufacturing in Livonia, Michigan for 13 years. Vida had a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed swimming, flower gardening and playing Bingo. She is survived by her niece, Sarah Blakeley of Vermilion with whom she made her home; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Jenneman, 1990; brothers, Walter Higdon, Lester Higdon, and Gurney Higdon and sisters, Della Schuller, Ella Hood, Willie Sutton, and Marie Klein, and her parents, Walter and Amanda (nee Black) Higdon. A graveside service will be held Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 at Parkview Memorial Park, Livonia MI. Father Theodore D'Cunha SAC will officiate.
