Viola Charlotte Bielecki

Viola Charlotte Bielecki (nee Niemann), 91, formerly of Lansing, MI, died Monday, February 13, 2017 at Admiral's Pointe Nursing Home, Huron, OH after a lengthy illness. She was born May 21, 1925 in Blue Island, IL and had spent much of her life in Lansing, MI. Viola was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansing, MI. She was an avid bowler and belonged to the Lansing Bowling Association. She also bowled on several leagues. Viola enjoyed gambling in Las Vegas with friends. She also enjoyed spending time at their retirement cottage in Mecosta, MI, relaxing on the lake and fishing. She is survived by her sons, Donald (Janet) Bielecki of Olney, IL, Darrell (Marianne) Bielecki of Vermilion, OH, and Denis (Terry) Bielecki of Lansing, MI; daughter in law, Jane Bielecki of Grand Ledge, MI, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; brother, Richard Niemann of Thornton, IL; and her sister in law, Helen Bielecki. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Bielecki in 1995; son, David Bielecki in 2006; parents, Heinrich "Henry" and Eleonora (nee Roegner) Niemann; and several brothers and sisters.
