William 'Billy' Bunt

William John "Billy" Bunt, 57, of Vermilion, died Friday, December 17, 2021 at Mercy New Life Hospice after a brief illness with cancer. He was born March 4, 1964 in Sandusky and had been a life long Vermilion resident. Billy was a "jack of all trades", but started his career as a plumber with Faucet Doctors before opening his own company, Drain Flow. He attended First Assembly of God Church, Vermilion. Billy was an accomplished musician, playing the drums in several bands. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carol Bunt of Vermilion; daughter, Krystal Bunt of Amherst; son, Shane Bunt of St. Petersburg, FL; mother, Arbutus (nee Pauley) Bunt of Vermilion; grandchildren, Trey, Ki, Irie, and Kiara; and his brother, Allen D Bunt of Vermilion. He was preceded in death by his father, John Bunt and his brother, Charles Franklin Bunt. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
