William Lammert

January 26, 1950 — July 24, 2004

William "Scott" Lammert, age 54, of Vermilion, died Saturday, July 24, 2004 at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain following a battle with cancer. He was born on January 26, 1950 in Pittsburgh, PA, he has lived in Vermilion for the past 10 years. He had also lived in Pittsburgh, PA and had spent his weekends in Vermilion for many years. Scott was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and had also served in the US Army Reserves. He was the owner of Diamond Carbon Company in Pittsburgh before retiring and was also an avid boater. He was the past commander of the VHYC and a member of the Port Authority of Vermilion and AMVETS Post 22 in Vermilion. Survivors include his wife, Debbie (nee Winters-Naidenoff) Lammert; sons, Greg Lammert and Jason Lammert, both of Pittsburgh, PA; step-sons, Sean Naidenoff and Brett Naidenoff, both of Orlando, FL; sisters, Christine Snyder of N.Olmstead, Joanne Solomon of Pittsburgh, PA and Melinda Lammert of Pittsburgh, PA; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded-in-death by his parents, William Lammert and Martha Gross-Fiedler. Friends may call on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 from 5-9 pm and again on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2004 at 10:00am at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 3747 Liberty Avenue, Vermilion, with the Reverend Terry Parker Officiating.
