William Edmund Morehouse

William Edmund Morehouse, Sr., 94, of Vermilion , died Wednesday, May 24, 2006 in Kingston of Vermilion after a short illness. He was born December 8, 1911 in Erie, PA. and has been a Vermilion resident for the past 6 years, moving from Avon. He worked as a Engineer for Nickel Plate Railroad for 40 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Avon and enjoyed bridge and golf. He is survived by his son, William E. Morehouse, Jr. of Vermilion; a daughter, Rosemary Mahl of Avon Lake; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth in 1992; a daughter, Penelope Darryl Ann Morehouse; a brother, Kenneth Morehouse and his parents, Clarence and Rose (nee Carney) Morehouse. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, May 26, 2006 at 11 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 33601 Detroit Rd, Avon, with Father John Misenko, pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery on Jaycox Road, Avon.
