William Ward

William Edward "Ed" Ward II, 64, of Vermilion, died Friday, December 17, 2021 at his home after a brief illness. Ed was born July 16, 1957 in Man, WV and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 44 years moving from Lorain where he grew up. Ed retired from Ford Motor Co., Lorain where he worked on the assembly line. He was a member of the UAW #425 and enjoyed boating, swimming, working on cars, and dancing. He is survived by sisters, Sandra Ward of Vermilion and Linda (Luis) Santiago of Bermuda Run, NC; nephew, Marc Rangel of Vermilion; and life long best friend, David Pankratz of Lorain. He was preceded in death by his parents, William "Ed" and Mavis (nee Fleming) Ward and his brother, David Ward. Services will be held at a later date.
