Xander K Cormier

Xander K. Cormier, 6, of Vermilion, died Saturday, May 9, 2015 at University Hospitals of Cleveland after a severe asthma attack. Xander was born October 21, 2008 in Beaver , PA and moved to Vermilion with his parents, Jeff and Emily, two year ago from Olmsted Falls. Xander was a kindergarten student at Vermilion Elementary School where he excelled in reading and science. He loved science experiments and also helping other children learn to read. He enjoyed playing video games, superhero's, and making people smile. He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Emily (nee McKim) Cormier of Vermilion: sister, Kaledrina "Kali" Cormier of at home; paternal great-grandmother Alice Cormier, grandfather and step grandmother, Richard and Bea "Grandma Bear Bear" Cormier of Jacksonville, FL; paternal grandmother, Cindy Cormier of Auburn, MA; maternal grandparents, Keith and Eileen McKim of Beaver, PA; and Aunts, Allicia Cormier of Auburn, MA; Rebecca McKim, Leith Ann McKim, Heather Schmuck all of Pittsburgh, PA, and Elaine McKim of Beaver, PA. And many cousins. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 3:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7:00pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH.
