Zachary Joseph Virgin

Picture by e-mail Zachary Joseph Virgin, 3 month old son of Shane (nee Katanik) and Joseph Jay Virgin, died suddenly September 9, 2004, at Children's Hospital of Kings Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia. He was born May 28, 2004 in Westlake, Ohio. Survivors include maternal grandparents, Debbie Johnson of Lorain, Farrel and Kim Katanik of Bryant, Wisconsin; paternal grandparents, Ron and Leslie Virgin of Vermilion, and William and Diane Evans of Vermilion, maternal great grandparents, Al and Bernie Katanik, and Marge and Don Sampson, all of Vermilion and paternal great grandfather, Frank Szalay, Lorain; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion. Father Phillip Feltman will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
