Zetha C. Falls (nee Thompson), 95, of Vermilion, died Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Mill Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born April 30, 1920 in Double Springs, AL. Zetha started her career as an acetylene welder with American Stove Co., Lorain. She then worked for General Industries, Elyria, Lorain Printing, and in the executive dining room for Ford Motor, Lorain. She was a former member of the First Ladies Golf League, Vermilion and enjoyed golfing, bowling, crafts, sewing, and growing flowers. She is survived by her son, Richard P (Sandra) Falls of Central Point, OR; 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren, many great-great grandchildren; and great-great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Woodrow Falls in 1988; daughter, Alice Octavia Budka in 2007; son, Onyx Falls in 1958; a grandson; and parents, Guy W. and Bertha (nee Howell) Thompson. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church, 591 Ferndale Ave., Vermilion, Ohio. The Reverend Cliff Morris will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion. The Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion, Ohio is entrusted with arrangements.
