Dear Family,
On Sunday, November 24, 2024, Riddle Funeral Home will be sharing with the community our 25th Annual “Tree of Remembrance Ceremony”. The program will begin at 12:30 pm in Victory Park, located on the corner of Main and Ohio Streets in downtown Vermilion. We will be honoring your family and all those we serve by remembering your loved one in a special tree decorating ceremony.
As we remember each deceased family member that we have served throughout the past year, we invite your family and friends to place a special weatherproof ornament on the tree in commemoration of your loss. Once adorned, our “Tree of Remembrance” will be a lighted remembrance for all to share throughout this holiday season.
Holidays, especially those family traditions celebrated during the Christmas season, can be overwhelming to families who try to celebrate in the absence of a loved one. We hope that through our “Tree of Remembrance” ceremony we can help shine a little light into the hearts of those who may find this time difficult.
We hope that you will bring a special ornament to share with us in a time of tree decorating, reflection, prayer, holiday music, hot drinks, and cookies…our “Tree of Remembrance Ceremony”.
